BANDCAMP-ONLY BONUS TRACK - "IN EUROPE" - INCLUDED IN EP!
Mhost Likely Black continues a string of rave-ready techno-trance cuts with a release from Oslo-based producer Deco 5000 that's emotional, fast, and nostalgic.
Opener ‘Drifting With Tommy’ is a loopy, emotional 155+ cut, hurtling us into a drift across steady percussive techno, fast trance-synth stabs, and compelling kicks. The emotional ‘Seasalt’ is a nostalgic euro rave trip. Rapid arpeggios, minor keys melodies, and snare rolls drag us into the abyss. Finishing things off is ‘Gate Left’ - a stomping neo-trance roller. 100% warehouse body music complete with a heavy, dark, and endless beat. A proper late-night body convulsion inducer.
Completing the package are the remixes from Pedahl and Minus Magnus. Following the melodic theme of ‘Seasalt’, Pedahl extends the Neo-Trance theme with dubbed-out pads and the ghost of a delayed drenched 90s stab buried in the heavy bass kicks. Minus Magnus continues the pacey drift of ‘Drifting with Tommy’, but drags the original sound down in an alarmy Gabber Techno basement with evil drum structures.
